Book Vending Machines – a Novel Invention
All kinds of products are sold in vending machines, from umbrellas to vegetables, and ties to flowers. At a recent visit to the Mall of Arabia, we stumbled upon a completely novel idea - a book vending machine. It’s the first one we’ve seen in Jeddah, so we promptly set about taking pictures to share with you all.

Most of the books were in Arabic, but some were in English.
We think it’s a great idea. It makes books much more accessible, especially in a city where libraries are scarce. Which books would you like to see displayed in these literary stands?
